Update on She Sharp

We had a wonderful online event for International Women’s Day to start the year. We partnered with AWS and GD1 to bring this event to our community. We started with a panel with four fantastic panellists from AWS who talked about how they #breakthebias (see a summary of the discussion made by the wonderful Pauli Sosa below). We then moved on to a great session with Erin Anderson Scott & Pauli Sosa from GD1 and MUV Talks, where they helped highlight to us our implicit biases. We finished the night with a session with Ankita Dhakar on AI art and NFTs. We also encouraged all our attendees to commit to how they personally would #breakthebias, and they added their wonderful ideas to our padlet! Overall, it was a fabulous event to start the year off, and we look forward to bringing more events to you this year.

We also have welcomed seven new ambassadors to our team for this year. We look forward to you meeting them all online, as well as when we can return to in-person events.

She Sharp Podcast

This year at She Sharp we are starting our very own podcast! We will be publishing an episode every month.

This month we are celebrating International Women’s Day and introducing you to the new members of our team. In this first episode, we have a conversation with some of our seasoned and new SheSharp ambassadors about International Women's Day, and what we can do to #break the bias.
