What. A. Year. 2023 was a year I could never forget! In case you missed it, here is the awesome achievements you helped us with:

✨ 12 fantastic events, including our very first event in Hamilton!

🥼 3 scholarships offered from AUT for aspiring students to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering.

📈 717 members attending our events.

2023 has been an incredibly transformational year for the tech world, especially in the field of AI. It has been so exciting to see more interest in the subject and I truly hope this results in more women joining the ranks. With more focus on the ethics and responsibility around tech, having a diverse range of voices helps us strike a considered balance.

Looking to the future, we’re so honoured to be nominated as a finalist for Community of the Year for the 2024 Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year. We’re nominated alongside some astounding intiatives and we wouldn’t have this recognition without your invaluable support. So, thank you! 💖

She Celebrates: Our Holiday Event

To celebrate the wonderful year we’ve had, Google hosted us for an evening of chats, cupcakes and celebration. Our diverse panel of speakers brought an enviable breadth of wisdom to the stage, discussing everything from personal branding to personal mantras.

A big shout out to all Ben Amadi, Hannah Weir, Kriv Naicker, Darya Koko, Knight Hou and Natalie Johnston for creating such a great end-of-year celebration mood. We’re going into the holiday season feeling great and excited for what’s to come! 🌞
